Thanks for the reply!

I want to have timecode positions on a graphical waveform display for converting the time of certain events in the sample (e.g. speech) into framecount for animation keyframing. Which means that even a sample viewer with a selectable cursor would work. I ll check the ones you proposed, are they available anywhere (ftp)?

Btw, I use mostly 8bit format samples.
