The same Mouse worked before the Upgrades ? (dont know youre PSU)
A optical Mouse ? Maybe the Psu is to weak now ?
About that "sleep" thing. That sounds familiar to me.
You see, i have a new optical Mouse that does exact the same thing. It goes into a "rest" more after some time.
Same happends when i use this mouse on Linux & Co.
This "Feature" is inside the Mouse so to Speak.
On Amiga, i had to press the Right Mouse Button to wake the mouse up again ; while on Linux & Co a simple Mouse Movement was enough. Thats maybe down to the adapter we are using on the Amiga, i dont know.
You could use another adapter of course, OR just use a different Mouse
