I still use Scala Infochannel 500 (Amiga version) for some presentations. I find it really simple and straightforward to use. There is always a workaround for unsupported features (due to age of the software).
In the end it always comes down to the tool that you feel more comfortable with, because it is not the tools, but how you use them which makes the difference.
