I'm using a hidden screen which is 800 pixels wide and scrolling through that using screen copy to the viewport. Not sure if that's the same thing, but I think I get what you are on about with the sections.

Anyway, I've uploaded the source to the Amos Factory forums and hopefully someone will take a peek and tell me what I'm doing wrong.
