The idea is to choose three games, 2 plus a backup, which you perhaps tried briefly but never went back to (including trying a friends copy), tried ages ago but never got off level 1, and cant really remember it. Never tried at all; but perhaps seen adverts (read reviews, looked at images on the Lemon/HOL database etc). Always wanted to try, but never did. DONT choose games you are familiar with.

But you dont have to be totally unfamiliar with a game because, Yes you can try the game once to make sure it would be suitable for the competition. It must have some kind of score, time, or volume in the game - which can be measured by taking a single screenshot at the point of game over.

Flight Sims, RPGs and Point N Click adventures are usually unsuitable, as are games with no time limit, in which the player can get unlimited score from respawning enemies.

If the same game is voted for by more than one voter, then there are two options, either we count that as one vote, or we go with the backup choice of the repeating voters. Thats another reason for the backup choice in case one or both of your other choices have already been chosen.

Of course, dont chat or talk about your votes or potential games on here. PM one of the mods with any questions or comments.
