While I don't want to discourage you from trying this stuff out, I do politely suggest a reality check
"Classic" Amiga software support for anything is mostly stuck in the year 2000 or so, and for big commercial type software (word processors, photo editing etc.) it's about 1995.
Some more modern stuff has been ported over from the Linux world which may get you a bit further. Still, keep your expectations realistic (low)
