Keyboard Question
Ok, I have a brand new CDTV keyboard lined up for my black 1200 project and have a few questions to ask if I may. Sadly it's a qwertz keyboard instead of a qwerty but fortunately comes with the smaller return key (i've heard people have had no end of troubles with larger return keys on these keyboards). My questions are :-
1. What's the best way of going about this mod? Should I just try to switch the actual keys over (dubious about doing this as i'm bound to break a few keys along the way) or try to switch the membranes (I think that's what it is) over?
2. This qwertz layout. Please forgive my ignorance and feel free to laugh your arse's off but - when setting up the Amiga, is it like a PC where you select the region you are in or is the keyboard set that way? If it's the former surely it's just a matter of swapping over the y & z keys. I can't remember how the initial setup went.
