The one that broke the mould, made the biggest impact, and moved the game on the most by being affordable was the 500. It was my first Amiga. I still remember vividly watching juggler in the window of a computer shop: it was a bit like wayne's world... "Oh yes, one day she will be mine"

The 1000 and 3000 jointly tie second place in my books. The 1000 was what started it all, and was groundbreaking - and commercially brave - in so many ways. It was too expensive and was desperately trying to work out who it should appeal to... The 500 sorted that out!

The 3000 was, as Jope says, the no holds barred "kick it to apple" move and is probably still my favourite Amiga. It's a shame the 3000+ never made it, but the 3000 is a great machine in so many ways.
