I agree. Take "Jesus on E's", for example. I never liked hardcore music (and I still don't
), but that one is a great example of musicianship, weighing in as it does at 20 minutes long.
I don't think anyone has mentioned Jogeir Liljedahl yet. I particularly enjoyed "Guitar Slinger" for being almost CD quality, even though it's only at 22kHz. Check out "LED Storm" and "Out Of Silence"; in fact, practically anything in /mods/jogei/ on Aminet is worth a listen. The man is a musician without equal in the Amiga world (IMHO, anyway)

Dr Awesome did some good stuff in his time, too. I also remember that he produced a lovely solo piano tune called "Empty Space". It's not on Aminet, so I'll root around in my CD collection to try to find it.
