Now I've never won this mission but... you've got enough stone to build west a couple of times, sort of south west and there's some stone at the bottom for a stone chap to hammer at. By the time you get your stone supply going, and there's only five or six trees so you're wood production is pretty slow until you expand south (but you havn't enough tools to have two woodcutters) and your opponent has got a huge economy going and cutting off your expansion chances... tough one :-(
