Unfortunately without C programming knowledge you can't do much as it's not just adding a framebuffer driver to the kernel. Driver needs to be modified a bit (it needs to be for 2.4 kernal), adjusted for amithlon usage. It isn't too difficult and doesn't require too much work but some C programming is needed.
