Describe what you mean by "jitter", and which video mode you are using.
Note in particular that *some* video modes may require availability of the CPU during the vertical blank, and the CPU may not be able to react if the bus is fully loaded with DMA transfers. In particular, it may be interesting where the blizzard driver ends up in RAM, and whether the TF is really autoconfiguring correctly. In worst case, the SCSI driver ends up in the slow 24-bit RAM, and that RAM may in worst case block CPU access if everything in the system is busy - IOWs, DMA is then so fast that it steals every available cycle on the bus, preventing timely response of the CPU to the video subsystem.
