I just searched some more and apparently version 2.17 was available on Aminet once. It appears to be on Aminet CD 5. Listed here:

Searching for FontPrefsV218.lha gives no results. So 2.17 is either the last version or the name was changed.
I'm actually curious why it isn't available on Aminet anymore. There are still a few other programs from the developer.
