Since you said you can ping 8.8.8.8 then it seems the networking is working except for name resolutions. If you check on another computer that is connected using DHCP - what does it say it's DNS is? If you are using windows you can check the current DNS settings by opening a Command Prompt and typing "ipconfig /all" and look for the DNS server line. If that says something else than what you've already tried - then try that.
