Hello there, lovley EAB Reader
Before i start .... ;
I almost can hear you scream " TORTI, you stupid Son of a Smurf, THERE IS A KGB WHDLOAD installer ! "
and YES, thats true; true like Smurfette is the only female Smurf in town.
Butt, aehm, but i found something really strange about it.
First; thank you so much Master JOTD for all the hard work.
We Smurfs do really appreciate it
.
Here are 2 things that could be sweeter tho ; just a suggestion of course.
1) The install makes hole Disk Imagefiles from the Disks and this ends up in a way bigger File/Memory footprint.
4,5 MB (Images) VS 3,6 MB (Files)
2) This is the Main one here. (on some real hardware)
There are 2 German versions of KGB and one of them has a very strange "
faster music when pointing over objects" bug; if installed with WHDLoad.
Only on my real hardware, not in WinUAE. Very odd.
Normally i would use the Native install of the Game but this one dosent like 3.1 and Fast-Ram that much, so i use WHDLoad.
Seems that one of the German versions produces this strange Music bug and the other dosent.
File Install would also be really sweet tho for Low-Mem Setups.
Anyhow, thats all.
Have a great Smurfy day and thank you so very much
Torti
PS: There is also a Report about this "Music getting faster when mouse is moved over objects problem" here.
