Yes, it's an issue with MusicDevice, which should be set to 0 for "auto detect", negative numbers will turn MIDI off. The default value for this variable is wrong, I missed this when I backported the game from EDuke32 to JFBuild

I guess I'll have another round of bugfixes before The Big Rewrite®.
