Suggestion: Support - AmigaOS Forum

I keep having questions about Workbench/AmigaOS and they occur across emulation in general, FS-UAE (specifically because I use a Mac), FPGA or real hardware. Other people would have other forums to choose between too, depending on their setups. Every time something occurs to me, I never know where to post the question, because there is no basic AmigaOS thread, only specialist ones about HOW you're running it.

It fragments the conversations and the queries. Means you need to be a keyword search ninja.

The OS is the OS, so how about a forum for questions about Workbench/Amiga OS, regardless of whether you're a classic hardware enthusiast or a Vampire?

Seems like a good way to consolidate the fact that we're talking about a platform, not a fragmented bunch of geeky ways to run it.

Subforums would be the versions, like OS 3.1, OS 3.2, OS 4 etc...

The central OS platform should be the main support forum, the ways of running it should be more specialist, and less prominent. And there would be an 'Emulation' forum about problems to do with recreating the OS on other systems.

A primary Amiga OS forum would be a good place for discussion about the OS, now it seems to have a lot of new momentum and there are surely good ideas about how to progress it, as well as support and developer discussion.

Unless there IS a forum like this and I've missed it...?
