Id Software weren't interested in the Amiga, they were formerly Apple ][ and later IBM PC specialists.
The Masters of Doom book mentions them dealing with an Amiga specialist at one point, but the name Amiga only gets one mention in the whole book, and that it was a console. WTAF?
