I have updated SynergyClient so it can solve this issue automatically, without using modified keymaps.
It now queries the Amiga keymap to see which of the backslash (0x0D) or right international key (0x2B) on the Amiga keyboard can be replaced by other keys or key combinations.
It then maps the servers side right international key to the key which cannot be replaced on the Amiga, which should be backslash in your case.
