You can use different versions of ixemul by using avail flush and renaming the libraries (as long as you only run one ixemul program at a time).
The ix_probs scripts on aminet were made to deal with this problem.

Also works really well for Wazp3D and Quarktex.
I would recommend running the scripts in user-startup too - in case the game crashes and the libraries are not set back to your preferred defaults.

You do have the .hmi files in your music drawer? (Abuse-Free does not include the music files)
What version of cdplayer.library are you using?
