These are the WinUAE settings I use for fullscreen. It doesn't give the purist 1:1 pixels but looks just fine to me. If your monitor doesn't support 60Hz then you might need different vsync settings or the game will run fast.
I use a cheap Buffalo gamepad, works great. I map bottom button to fire and left button to up (for jump).
