Just had the game hang (music keeps playing, but the level does not restart) after dying on level 7 - semi-frustrating, but also great fun while it lasted... Also noticed some graphical glitches on...

What a great port!

Some minor things I noticed:
No checkpoints in the levels.
Ship speed does not seem to reset to slowest after dying.
Hit boxes on the enemies seem smaller than in the arcade...

Tried it with a stock A1200 (no expansions, booted from floppy with only the CD32 pad attached) and no change - CD32 pad buttons still do nothing either in the menu or game.

The title screen doesn't seem to read the buttons of a CD32 pad, so you cannot start a game (it does read directions so you can move around in the menu).
