I applaud you for wanting to do as much preventative maintenance as possible, and if I were working on other people's boards then I'd probably use NP caps...

I think you're getting confused. Non-polarised and non-electrolytic caps are two separate things. It's entirely possible to get non-polarised electrolytic capacitors.

Minimig failed RAM upgrade EDIT: now completed!

Started my minimig RAM upgrade from 2Mb to 4Mb today, but it's not going as smoothly as I'd hoped. :sad
