Works for me. I've tried with Aminet, Aros, and MorphOS with no error messages. And several readme files in the recent-list for each site.

So seems to work as it should.

Indeed. I found about uhc just 6 months ago or so, but it has proved to be indispensible.

I really like the idea of using it to automate some installs - sort of like the amiga-version of apt-get....

As far as I'm concerned, UHC-Tools and UHC-GUI should be considered essential software...
