Just found out how useful 3.2's ability to step through startup-sequence and user startup is for figuring why your system won't fully boot. Given my ability to stuff up those files this is a godsend....

I have a very cheap generic usb "sound card" that I've plugged in to my RR which both Poseidon and AHI detect and set up. Haven't tried using it for anything though.

It'll run fine with no FPU (oops, bad typo CPU :laughing ) but the minimum 8mb RAM is really nowhere enough.

No, most of the cheap ones on eBay are no good as they aren't supported by Poseidon. Can't remember which chips are supported unfortunately.

That's what I'm now doing with my A1200, only issues are no access to the early boot menu and no mouse in WHDLoad games that want/need one. So far not really a problem for me.
