Yep I don't think it likes the higher screen mode settings but it should definitely save your screen mode choice, sounds like you have a setup issue.

Yep I think the MiSTer makes for an excellent A1200 replacement, the fact that it can also play amazing Genesis/SNES/DOS games with MIDI hardware and CRT support is the icing on the proverbial cake....

As I posted about on another thread, it reads 13 MIPS but doesn't actually feel that fast in use (more like 6-8 MIPS). Still fast enough to play 90% of games well :)
