This will work for a very late model A4000 keyboard. The majority were PCB based.

A rough way to distinguish: metal springs, linear feel = membrane and rubber cups, clicky feel = PCB.

The amount of space in 3.1 and older is not very large. You would have to go for a 1MB ROM in most nontrivial cases (ie. only replacing scsi.device).
