I'd buy a simple mixer which solves the issue in no time. I have one I've used way back but now I use a hifi audio amplifier (e.g. a home theatre audio stuff) so I let that small to retire.

The big red robot thing appears in the AB3D. It definitely an ultimate enemy in that installment. Huuuge, powerful. Definitely had it's role in 3D, I like in ABTA it's "cameo", but looks much better...
