An HDMI-DVI cable is the same as a HDMI cable with a HDMI-DVI converter/adapter at the end so yes that will work. :)

My OSSC has DVI out so I actually use a DVI-HDMI adapter into an HDMI switcher...

I am using 3.1.4 with the TF536 and while it is very slow without MMULib+MUFASTROM, the speed is as fast as it should be when it is installed.
