Well thank you. I normally use real hardware and there it's easy just to push a button on the Gotek, but when travelling it's a bit easier to go with a laptop and emulation :-)

Yes I'm aware of telnetd.device and telser.device and I have even tried them, but both make the computer hang when BBS is started. Haven't tried telnetd more than that, but at least telser works OK...
