Thanks for the examples. That's interesting.

But you can achieve very similar effect of this kind of filtering without an inversion - just by x-fading two samples.

I would love if there was real-life examples attached.

Actually it is funny, because I tried this "pair of phase inverted samples" to get some kind of filtering illusion just a couple of days ago...
