That one yes, was some kind of enterprise storage i think, is a really big disk, was made on something about 93/96, 40gb, 14 platters and 28 heads, so yes, they had a 4mb buffer

Hi guys, i wonder if someone is using a 8gb or biguer CF on the CFAUX slot of the ACA500.

The CF is FAT32 formated under windows, its on the CFAUX slot as i saied and in workbench (cfaux drawer)...

My a500 is a rev 6 one, aca500, megachip, trap door expansion mapped as chipram, boot selector, hxc2001, indivision, im using a good atx psu, and all works perfect !

Thank you, i did the update when was released, in my case the problem was never the floppoy emulator, was the a500 psu, switched to an atx psu with an adapter, and then the adappter gave some problems

I had a similar problem with the hxc2001 rev c, same behevior with my rochard 800, te problem is allways the 5v rail, i use an atx psu too, but sometimes i need to replug firmly the "atx to amiga"...

jens, i have some a500 and a500+ systems with differents configurations, and add ons, like indi ecs, hxc2001, 4 cf cards, and i can do spme tests on an a1000 too, i would expend more than 2 or 3...
