EAB Multi Platform League - Game Vote (Special Round 2)
Voting starts now (08.11.2009) and will end next Saturday (14.11.2009) :
- Vote for five games. - Your first choice gets 5 points, second 4 pts, third 3 pts, fourth 2 pts, fifth 1 pt. - Remember to choose games suitable for competition play. If you don't, then you will get the treat of a PM from me, asking you to change your vote. If you still don't change it your vote will be discounted. If you aren't sure feel free to ask. - If you vote for games that don't have a scoring system (e.g. racing games), post which game mode to play and how to measure the score. If you don't do that your whole vote is invalid. - Edited votes will be discounted (unless you are told to edit it, and even then you can only edit the game(s) that aren't suitable) - so think before you post. Also you cannot vote for games that have already been played. In this special round you can vote for any game series on any platform(s). You vote for the game series and then choose two titles from it to be played. So you have to vote for 5 game series and 10 games. Normal voting rules apply, but we will play the top two voted game series. I hope at least two people will vote for the same game series ;) Gimme all your votes :D |
Oh, so we vote for several game series then? :)
Would a list look something like this? 1. Super Mario (Super Mario Bros.3 for SNES (All Stars compilation) and Super Mario World for SNES) 2. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ( TMNT The Arcade Game for MAME and TMNT: The Hyperstone Heist for genesis ) 3. Castlevania ( Super Castlevania for SNES and Castlevania for Nintendo Vs System, Mame) 4. Sonic ( Sonic 3 & Sonic and Knuckles. So we get the ENTIRE adventure. :) ) 5. Command and Conquer (Red Alert and C&C Gold) Or would it be a little bit more complicated? |
A bit more complicated ;) First of all : Quake (as much as I like it) and Command & Conquer aren't really appropiate, as you can still buy both series. Would mean everybody would have to buy the games, since I can't provide them. Other than that Quake is a bit hard to measure anyway. No discussion, they are no-go's :D
Second thing : You need to choose two games from that particular series. So, which two from SMB, TMNT and Castlevania (bear in mind that we already have played 2 Castlevania games in the league ;)). |
Regarding C&C: Oh yeah?? Guess you missed these little memo's on Red Alert and Command and Conquer, dude. ;) I think they're even OPEN SOURCE these days...
Red Alert Freeware ------------------- http://compactiongames.about.com/od/...htm?once=true& Command and Conquer Freeware --------------------------------- http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/48749 Really? You didn't know about this? For shame that Quake 1-3 isn't freeware tho... even if the game-engines are Open Source. :( |
Nope, not a big C&C fan, so I had no idea. Only knew that the 'first decade' compilation was released in 2006 and assumed they were all still for sale. Anyway, change your vote (you can leave C&C in with these two games then) so that you have two games for each series and Quake is still a no-go ;)
|
Yah, I just did that... Just have to think of a 5th game-series... hmm...

2. Final Fight series:
3. Thunderforce series:

|
Let's see if I can get this right..
1. Megaman 2 & 3 [NES] 2. Hang-On & Super Hang-On [Arcade] 3. Darius 2 (Sagaia) [MD] & Darius Force (Super Nova) [SNES] 4. Final Fight 2 & 3 [SNES] 5. 1943 & 1941: Counter Attack [Arcade] |
You got it Biscuit :) When there is a season 2 for the EMPL I'll try to come up with a better explanation ;)
|
We have a winner! It's Final Fight (2 & 3) with 6 points and 2 votes.
