Adding the 53C710 A4000T onboard SCSI to an A4000D motherboard replica
Any of the geniuses here in the community ever thought of inclusing the Fast SCSI 2 feature of the A4000T motherboard to a replica A4000 desktop form factor? For all the labor-of-love work that has gone into the A4000TX and similar, I am surprised no one just did a layout change to adapt the integrated SCSI.

Because you can buy A4091?
https://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=108939 Because Big box Amiga Accelerators usually incorporate their own SCSI/IDE system? |
Or you can go see hese over @ Amibay and buy one of his Amiga AA3000+ motherboards with AGA Chipset, SCSI II, DSP Sound, 24Bit Flicker Fixer, PCI Riser card etc...
This was the Amiga that every Amiga Fanboy back in the day, wanted..... hese is your man. :great Otherwise and as alexh advises above.... Chuck an A4091 into your A4KD, but be sure you have a Rev 11 Buster after buying one @ organ donor prices. (....if you can find one) :crazy |

They should mount a 53C720 instead. Basically a drop in replacement with a little bit of driver update. So it will be 20MB/s instead of 10MB/s, twice as much! Twice as much for not much effort! Do it!
