Hi Everyone,
I have been wanting to do another Colour Cycling/3D animation with Lightwave and BrillianceII for sometime and had a moment today to create one. The first demo was this one https://youtu.be/HyE3Eq5gQfI The new one is here https://youtu.be/6CKyJ6bqTVw Specs: 320x256 x 256 colours (100 frames) Software: Lightwave 3D and BrillianceII More details of how it was done is on my Blog and will soon post a speedvideo of the process if it helps. |
Excuse my ignorance but this runs on Amiga!? What spec are required as it is very smooth indeed! I like it!

Fascinating stuff…
When you say in your Blog that “Lightwave still exports IFF files…” do you mean Lightwave 3D 2020? |
Hi Lester_smsc, While it’s using emulation, settings are for A1200, 030 processor. I have IFF file here in the attached files. You would also need extra memory. https://www.patreon.com/posts/59454685
Yes PerspexSphinx, 2020 version of Lightwave. I plan on recreating the simple scene via Lightwave 3.5. |
Aesthetically, very eye-pleasing.

By the way is it intended that you didn't post in "Graphics.tutorial" ? |
Good point Malko, if it can be moved I'm happy for that to be in that section.
