Ex-YU Amiga mags
There were several mags in ex-Yugoslavia with amiga games reviews, and only few 'only' amiga mags.
Scans are available at http://pc.sux.org/ . I can help with those mags if you guys are interested to add them to AMR. |
Sure - we'll add them if you are interested in doing the indexing. We also like to include at least cover scans if possible. Those scans - are they yours?
|
If I'm not wrong, tomcat666 is the organizer behind this scans.
There was already thread about some of scans here. |
Yep, you are right :)
And "recently" we also added WARP magazine - both issues of it. Would be great to see them in AMR, but that will require indexing :) |
I can help with indexing, of course with tomcat's permission.
Tomcat, are you the one behind 'galaksija' project as well? Do any of you guys from ex-yu know of a place to view/download 'Galaksija' magazines? Also any chance of finding 'Racunari u Vasoj kuci' #3? (That one was my favorite. I used to own all of first numbers but that's, as most of the things from 'that' life, left behind. :( |

btw. since I am already talking with someone from ex-YU: Do you know if someone would still have the game "Balkanski Konflikt" for amiga ? Best regards, Tomaz |
Ok I have no problem adding the magazines - might take a little time though as I have almost zero time for any Amiga stuff at present (still have several scanned Amiga Actions to add too...)
|
I would be very thankful if you start with next Racunari first when the time is right. :cheese
Unfortunately, I left Balkans in second part of 1992 with one backpack of cloths from Karlovac for Germany where I've spent next 3 years before moving to USA. In those 3 years in Germany, except my German family I didn't know any Amiga owners from ex-YU and didn't see single game in our language(s). Thank you for scans of Racunari! I was looking for scans for a long time. I still remember how exciting was to read them first time around, when I could only imagine to own computer, and when Apple II in school was only thing we were able to use. (Over 2000 students and only 10-15 computers :cheese ) That first issue of Racunari explains exactly why was that. First, we were not allow to import more then small amount of money and secondly we were to pay somewhere around 50% of tax for the stuff we imported. How smart were people at the power of that time?! :shocked :cheese Best regards, Anubis (I'll PM you name ;)) @ Galaxy - when you have time, please add first Amiga Style. There is no a lot of mags, and they are all amiga games. I'll start with first issue this weekend. (1992 - 11) |
