Black screen with 50 hz D3D not(DD) in WinUAE 2.3.3 from 60 hz setup in Win 7

If screen is set to 60 hz in Win 7, it gives black screen surface with D3D (not DD) when chose 50 hz in Display mode setting and click OK.

If I change screen to 50 hz manually in Win 7 before starting WinUAE, it is not a problem and works. I have a GTX 570 latest drivers.

Seems there is some problems with this, maybe a bug fix on way in next version? Anyone can confirm this? I use DVI cable to monitor.

And 50 hz works with my monitor and DVI in Win 7.

Attach both winuaebootlog.txt and winuaelog.txt (remember to check logging checkbox in misc panel) from both 50Hz and 60Hz setup.

The logs is for D3D and DD settings, all set to 50 hz/PAL in WinUAE but respective 50/60 in desktop before starting WinUAE.

All are fullscreen.

Black screen with D3D also even happens when I try to add 1920x1080 50 hz in Nvidia control panel and running with 60 hz from desktop.

Makes me suspect it is a D3D bug? as it works with DD no matter what.

Running with 50 hz from desktop before starting WinUAE does work with D3D/DD,
it is only with 60 hz from desktop and using D3D it fails.

Included winuaebootlog.txt and winuaelog.txt in respective self-named zips.

Why do you need to change display driver settings?

What happens if you select 50Hz or 60Hz from select box next to resolution in Display panel. (Both winuaebootlog.txt files lists both 50Hz and 60Hz as supported in HD resolutions)

Of course this does not fix the problem but at least it should give some more information.

It becomes black when I select 50 hz, but 60 hz works.

It does work only when I change display to 50 hz before starting WinUAE.

Strange sometimes I can manage to display on 50 hz (with 60 hz desktop before), but the picture become "locked".

It is sometimes (unrealiable) when I trying the triple buffering, but does not show anything (black) in other buffering modes.

Reset does not change anything, the picture is static after I try to reset. (F12 and reset)

Strange.. Check that you don't have any forced graphics settings in nvidia control panel, they could cause conflicts.

No, and also I have reinstalled drivers (clean install) to newer 285 whql. (on desktop computer with Nvidia GTX 570)

And I recall same thing happens on TV connected to laptop HDMI (second computer a laptop with Nvidia GT 540M)

Have you tried same thing on a Nvidia based (4-5xx desktop/mobile cards) with DVI or HDMI, this?

Maybe have to force 50 hz in desktop before booting WinUAE as workaround, then.

NOTE: Windowed mode works, and full-window but not Full screen (with 50 hz in Winuae display setting and 60 hz on desktop before)

NOTE2: Have ticked resolution auto-switch, but doesn't help either.

I have very similiar problem.
Geforce GTX560Ti, drivers 285.62, Win 7 64bit.
Blank screen In D3D and 50Hz.
D3D works (but stutter) only in standard modes (60 Hz)
I use LCD, so i had to set custom resolution and refresh rate to get 50Hz.
With DD - works fine in custom modes (50Hz, full screen, v-sync on).
In my case, changing to custom resolution manualy before launch winue didn't help.
