Tosec flood on usernet!
 

Just noticing a tosec flood on usenet at the moment and there seems to be some stuff missing.. ie
Amiga Power cover disks start at 6 then 7, 12 then 20 ?

also CU Amiga disks start at 15a.. does this mean that the missing ones aren`t around? or dumped or such.

Why do they bother with Usenet... P2P is best.....

Both usenet and P2P are good ways of sourcing material - just because you personally don't have access to newsgroups it doesn't mean they are useless.

In fact my ISP provides almost all the groups (the only one I miss personally are the XBOX binaries) - I'm browsing alt.binaries.emulation.amiga right now with 99% completion of files (1% of files corrupted) and a download speed of 60124 B/s.

Don't write newsgroups off just yet!

BTW, just because your ISP has banned newsgroups, it doesn't stop you purchasing access to them - you'd be surprised what you can find on Newsgroups!

hmmmmppfff I remember not `showing` incomplete` articles so they may be there but incomplete!

I can d/l at 350KB/sec from newsgroups so dont bother with P2P which is generally slow from what I remember
