Subscribed but I have no idea what I'm doing :)
I initially added amiga@sopuli.xyz to Masterdon and I see 'boosts' but it seems you need a Lemmy account to work properly.

I don't fully get it can't you just access it with a browser?

You can access it, but it might be full of spam. As the article mentions '3rd party apps' could mean bots that remove junk can no longer acesss Reddit for free.

I was thinking the same things. Alas, you see it better in 15"+ screens. I just don't get the hype on this.
