Flashback 2 in development for consoles and PC
According to this tweet: https://mobile.twitter.com/Microids_...older_relative

I guess the reboot/HD remake sold well enough.
Let`s just hope Microids do not do it like their Xiii Remake...
Lunark is another indie project that should contain a lot of Flashback atmosphere inside

Same publisher at least..
Well, this actually does have the original creator Paul Cuisset developing it with his team.. we'll see..
oh.. :/ I`ll stick with Lunark when it comes out.
No direct footage... already half into the year it is said to be released... not holding my breath for it ;)
What I can see isn't very inspired either. Looks a bit more like a pseudo 3D remake than a new game. |
This actually doesn't look too bad, compared to all the other recent rehashes.
It's a definite "It COULD be good" dot dot dot.

now showing as releasing in roughly a month, not sure about that price tag tho. |

this looks awful a good example of "if it ain't broke don't fix it".
Looks fine to me, a nice mix between 2D and 3D action. The fact that it isn't yet another FPS game is refreshing in itself.
I seen a footage in steam and its mixed approach is interesting; definitely not innovative but interesting
Here's my first 30mins of play with the game, I'd rather not say what I think about it and leave it up to you...

It definitely has the tone of the original from the first 12 minutes of your gameplay.
