Anyone experience uploading to Aminet?

I want to upload to the Aminet but replace an existing package.

I didn't upload the original, I'm not the Author. However this is the official release of the source code and the last binary direct from the author.

Anyone know if that is easily possible?

I shouldn't think you will have much problem uploading a new archive. However, I'm not so sure you'll find it so easy to replace the original one, but perhaps there will be no need. Your upload could exist along with the old one.
The web upload form is currently under maintenance.

When it comes back online, you may get the information you need there.

See, I don't like that.

I'll just have to read up about it and mail the moderators.

I've found the information I need. Looks easy enough.

I'm the one moderating the uploads.

You usually can't replace a package that was uploaded by another person, unless you include evidence in the file's readme (or sent said evidence to aminet@aminet seperately) that you're entitled to do so - like a mail from the original author.

But I'll just take your word that you got the stuff from the original author. Easiest way to replace the old file would be to upload a package with the exact same name. No need to use the Replaces: keyword in that case.
