Photoshop CS3: Amiga IFF plugin
Anyone know where I can get a plugin for Photoshop CS3 so it will open Amiga IFF files? I've had a search myself but not having much luck so far.
Cheers. |
not sure,
but ACDSee can view iff, i just open them using it and do a print screen! |
The plugin from CS & CS2 should work fine.
If you have those you'll find it somewhere on the install cd. |
While we're on this thread, anyway of getting either photoshop or ACDC to display HAM6/8 without choking? It would be nice to offload batch-converting a bunch of pics I have to 24-bit onto my laptop, so I can still play WHDLoad stuff without killing ad-pro. (I'd leave my computer on all night for that, but I'm already doing that to convert audio tapes recorded via perfectsound to mp3 via LAME)

I know :D

Paintshop pro supports iff ;-)
|
Thats pretty cool that a program like that would support an Amiga file format
|
I had issues saving out iffs with PS8 so had to return to PS7, but I have no idea if it's still an issue.
It (PS8) would open them fine. |
Converting TO iff is a completely other matter. If someone knows a proper converter (from some indexed color format to iff or RGB to ham iff), let me know :)
The Photoshop one "kinda" "works" but it's not for any serious use. |

I went on to Google for a plugin to open iff files in Photoshop and then realised that Photoshop CS5 default install openes iff just fine :D
|
Indeed - but that Iff I tried didn't show right (just like on CS2 with the plugin which I do have too); IrfanView did show it like it should. But that's just one pic (by Valleyo, '94)
