Squirrel SCSI PCMCIA
Hi there.
Does anyone have the drivers for the squirrel pcmcia scsi? I have 2 squirrel cards here and I just dug out my old SCSI tower and I can't find the drivers for it anywhere... So can someone plz help? Or point me to a place to get them? |
yeah its not obvious to find... found something here tho:
http://members.driverguide.com/drive...driverid=80284 but you have to register to download... I know not the best. hope its what you are looking for. |
I have the driver disk (not with me though). Let me know if you want me to upload it to the Zone
|
Both the Squirrel and Surf Squirrel driver disks can be found in the drivers section of the Big Book of Amiga Hardware site (look under SCSI_Controllers).
|
Thanks for all your help all. Got it up and running now.
Another quick question... How would I get a SCSI Iomega Jaz drive to work? (It's not in the tower yet, but I'm not going to if it can't be done) |
Should pretty much be plug 'n' play. However, if you run into trouble there's a bunch of Jaz drivers and tools programs on Aminet that will make the job easier.
|
The easiest prog I have found for this is one called MountDos on Aminet. From memory there was no messing around with mountlists. And you don't need to reformat the disks - you can leave the FAT formatted - ideal for Amiga-PC file transfer. The file is in the Zone. Here is the aminet readme.
