1.5.1 screen corruption with CWBP96
2 Attachment(s)
Am messing here late at night. Not best time to fix a problem... ;)
Getting full screen corruption with CWB96. I am useless with UAE, so am sure there is an obvious cause... Can anyone help me out please? I have attached a screenshot and Log file. Many thanks |
"Standard testing": same in windowed and fullscreen? Does changing "display buffer" to "systemram" fix it? (note that it also can cause major slowdown but it if fixes it = guaranteed display driver issue)

Display card model? Newest driver version? |
Hi Toni, sorry for the lame report ;)
Windowed mode is fine. Changing "display buffer" does not fix the issue. Not a Laptop. It is a crossfire 2900xt system with latest drivers. Changing p96 mode in WB does not fix the issue. I am sure it is a I.D.10.T user error or Driver issue too... But still an real issue till I fix it...:) Many thanks. |
Try 16bit screenmode instead of 32bit or vice versa.
|
Hi Thomas, I should have said. I have tried both 16 and 32 bit screenmodes.
Many thanks. |
winuaebootlog.txt please (I forgot to ask..)

Does "An exception was encountered while performing the requested operation" also appear when you run in windowed mode?
|
Hi Toni, I dont get any exception window appearing in either windowed or fullscreen modes.

I thought this was released later than your original post :)
If you are not scared of betas, you can try these: http://www.rage3d.com/board/showthread.php?t=33929301 (they are newer than official 8.8 even if it says 8.7) |
