Cd32 Nvram
 

Hello, can anyone tell me where to download the Flash Rom File ( NVRAM - 1024 byte Flash RAM ) for the CD32.

I need it for WinUAE CD32 Emulation, I want to save Highscores & settings.

I know the original flash was built into the Akira Chip. So I dont know how to get hold of this file.

Can Anyone help!:confused

WinUAE will create empty NVRAM file automatically.

Oops, it crashes due to bug after creating it...
Just rerun it and it will work.

OK, Thanks for the replies. I will try re-installing and set up WinUAE again.
Because it will not create the file at the moment for some weird reason.

Whoops, lol Got the Chip name wrong!

Duh

NVRAM file is created only after CD32 Kickstart accesses it the first time (=when CD32 boots, before main CD32 title/boot screen appears)

btw, NVRAM is separate standard 1kx8 serial EEPROM chip connected to Akiko via two wire I2C bus.

Where is the File Created mate, tried everything, got the Key Screen come up, and the Country select screen.

Even Booted up a couple of Games, but still no file!

I'm running XP, is this the problem?

Tried changing the Compatability option, But WinUAE just Crashes then!

I will keep trying, unless you could upload file to the Zone for me mate.
