WinUAE 2.7.0 crashes DDL and DTSC

Since 2.7.0 I loose my surround encoded signal when starting WinUAE. I have to restart my PC to get the sound back.

The details:
My soundcard is an Auzentech X-Fi Prelude, connected to an AVR. The S/PDIF can only output 2.0 uncompressed PCM audio or compressed 5.1/7.1 surround sound, so in order to get surround sound I have to encode the signal with Dolby Digital Live or DTS Connect.
To make the computer do this the card pretends to use the analog ports (speakers are set as default device) while the encoder sends the encoded audio through the S/PDIF(the S/PDIF is activated but not the default device). When trying to access the S/PDIF while an encoder is active there is no sound coming out of it.

When I start WinUAE 2.7.0 the first time, I just stop getting sound.
If I then start it again the display of the AVR shows that it's not receiving an encoded signal anymore.

WinUAE 2.6.1 vs 2.7.0 does not have any low level sound changes. You really sure 2.6.1 does not cause same problem? (Using exact same config)

Driver not working is 99.9% surely driver problem, unfortunately Auzen X-FI cards haven't got any driver updates for ages.

What Windows version?

It somehow fixed itself. Here is what I did:
Get the ziped versions of 2.6.1 and 2.7.0 for quick testing.
Use the uninstaller.
Unzip 2.6.1 and try it. It works fine.
Delete 2.6.1, unzip 2.7.0 and try it. Now it is working fine too.

No idea what caused the issue, but thanks for your help anyway.
