English Amiga Board - DamienD's WinUAE Collection

Oh no... just fully tested the WHDLoad version and it runs way too fast, and therefore unplayable :scream

Looks like I've have to swap back to the disk version, but firstly need to get it to load reliably. Not sure how though as I've tried all options I can think of... also created a thread here: Formula 1 Grand Prix - Working Reliably

Anyway, that's now a job for tomorrow.

Ok, so back to the disk version for now...

Figured out what the issue is; WinUAE v4.4.0.

Tried creating a Save State in WinUAE v4.3.0 and including this, but after loading the controls don't work at the menu screen.

Anyway, for now I've leave as this and hopefully Toni can fix with WinUAE v4.9.0 when released.

So, please do the following:

Delete the <gamedir> "C:\WinUAE\Games\Formula 1 Grand Prix".
Download / extract this archive into "C:\WinUAE".

Hi all, i had a Amiga 500 as a youngster around 90-95, had a couple hundreds of diskettes with games which i regret selling when the pc came, DamienD i was wondering if i too could get hold of your collection of amiga games for the Winuae? Thanks!

Hello,

Your collection is generally fine except some minor things :P

No games like:
- Franko,
- Doman,
- Cytadela,
- Za Zelazna Brama

Generally lack of Polish titles. I know you are thinking that games like Franko, Doman are crap but well... I do not agree. To be honest, in Poland, these games are considered classics and a lot of ppl just growed up on these titles. There will be even new version of Franko released soon.

Check Cytadela intro... one of the best intros on Amiga platform.

Some antiviruses are reporting that you package contains viruses. Jfyi.

Anyway - impressive work. I am glad you shared it with others.

I am from Poland too and those games are crappies.
I just got little sentimental nostalgy for them. I made unofficial update with those games few weeks ago.

I respect your opinion but please keep in mind that everyone knows these games and, as I told before, we will have new Franko soon which was sponsored on Kickstarter. It means something :).
