New USB HID Keyboard adapter for the classic Amiga
This is my new project.
The prototype in action http://youtu.be/B_yfLJftOGM Connected keyboard model is a Dell KB212-PL |
Great stuff! Keep us informed on your progress.

Cool - could do with a USB optical mouse rather than the old-skool ball mouse I'm using :help
|
Yeah I hope this supports mice too!
|
You can use either of these to connect a USB mouse as long as it supports the PS/2 protocols. "http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/catalog/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=adamse"
I have both and they work great with the optical USB mice I have. :great |

The link seems broken from here...
|
Is a bigbox version in the works? I use my Kinesis on the rapidroad but it has some limitations compared to a keyboard on the native keyboard port. :-)

External version is also being prepared. |
Ah, ignore my previous statement, it works from here as well. :)
|
Nice! Any news on the external version?
|
This looks great! Some people are so clever!
|
Where do we buy ? I could not find any link..
|
What would be really good is an auto switcher or something that allows two joysticks and mouse to be connected.
These work well: http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Internal...item1c1ee2d4da I have 3 and they allow two joystick and a mouse and switch between so no need to swap cables. But if a cleaner design could be done I would be in :-) |
I could really need one keyboard adapter :/ When they will be available?
