Anyone know what happened to Zack Knutson, the Imagine coder?

Hi all, doing some research on Imagine and the people who made it. I did see Mike Havorson passed a few years back, but does anyone know what happened to Zack Knutson? There is basically nothing I can find online.

Ask Paul Hugues on Twitter he maybe knows.

You don't happen to have a twitter handle for him? Searching his name brings up tons of Paul Hugues.

Fantastic, thanks

Right spoke to Paulie, and he cleared up what is now an obvious mis-understanding. This was not Imagine the games company from the 80's in the U.K. This is the 3D modeling, animation and rendering software from the company Impulse and was based in the States, Minnesota to be more precise.

Hope that jogs some more memories.

I thought that was obvious? From your op and "the people that made it" i assumed you were talking about imagine by impulse vs Imagine that Ocean Software bought the rights to, i. e. developers of Yie ar Kung Fu etc.

Is this him?

I don't think so. Just looking at his age, he would be coding silver at the age of 14 or 15.

Pyromania 16 December 2021 15:29

Sounds like a typical Amiga coder back in the day!
