best samples editors ?

I'm looking for a good 68000 audio/sample editor on amiga (3.1 A600). On my 1200 I'm using soundprobe. thank you for your help.

I was always fond of Aegis Audiomaster. But it might be too limited for your needs.

I wonder if Art Of Noise runs on a 68000? It has a great sample editor with lots of options. Otherwise I recommend:

- ASound
- Octamed Soundstudio (for Boosting Treble)
- Sample Wrench
- Super Sound 4.2

edit : by the way, since my friend will use his amiga as a 8bit lowfi midi sampler, do you have any software you prefer ? For slave midi features, I just know octamed sound studio. but maybe there is a better option.
